The prestigious Shashi Hotels Group is delighted to announce the official launch of their majestic Aloft Mountainview. The remarkable 160 room hotel was recently converted from Hilton Garden Inn to the Marriott ALoft franchise.
The new hotel is ideally situated on the seven-block strip connecting Castro Street from the Downtown Mountain View Station transit center to El Camino Real. The hotel features a gorgeous scenic view of the Santa Cruz mountains in addition to its excellent proximity to local landmarks including shopping malls, restaurants & dining, cultural & historical attractions, access to Silicon Valley, transit services, and a vast community of hi-tech companies.
This remarkable ALoft hotel also features a cutting edge ‘fitness center’ and a ‘splash outdoor pool’ for the complete leisure experience. The hotel offers the usual facilities including non-smoking public areas, car rentals, laundry services, mobile room keys, and 24-hour room service.
The hotel will be a great attraction for business travelers due to Mountainview’s busy business center and closeness to Silicon Valley.

“The hotel’s first challenge was migrating the property management system from its legacy software, it will now operate with the latest PMS solution. In addition, we updated the property with four retrofitted conference rooms over 2,112 sq feet of meeting areas especially for business travelers”, Ziaee comments.
“We also redesigned the entire WIFI infrastructure and hotspot coverage to enhance connectivity for guests” claims Ziaee, “the back office hardware & software was also updated to synchronize with the new PMS and internet infrastructure including servers, PCs, domain controllers, and cybersecurity systems.”
